We were recommended to stay here for a special birthday celebration. The food was incredible, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The location on the river bank was lovely, with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The swimming pool offered a refreshing escape, and the comfortable bed and clean bathroom provided a restful stay. The breakfast coffee and croissant were delicious, making it a great start to each day.

The setting is very lovely and relaxing. The room we were allocated had a lovely new shower room and lovely products. The restaurant used on one evening, was as expected excellent.

The breakfasts were very nice, apart from the use of old cracked and in one case, glued, cups. For the prices charged for what are basic rooms, albeit, with an excellent restaurant attached, new crockery should be a basic buy each season. As stated above very quiet and relaxing, apart from the extremely loud and smelly leaf blower that is used every day! Would a broom not do the same job?

Lovely spa hotel in the countryside close to St. Emilion and surrounding vinyards. Well staffed comfortable and elegant at a very reasonable price.

The picturesque location is fabulous, really close to restaurants, Rocamadour, Sarlat, and the land of foie gras. Great variety of food at breakfast, including milk and jam. - Only a 10-minute drive from Grotte des Carbonnieres.

The restaurant at Le Pont De Louyesse serves first class cuisine as good as any you will get in Paris so for gourmet lovers its a must if you are in the region. You dont have to stay their to dine there and the restaurant and its setting were definately the highlight.

The hotel appears to be geared to people passing through the region for a couple of nights and was not told about any of the attractions or features at the hotel I might like during my stay even though I was there for 5 nights. I was also not asked when I was paying the bill of 1000 euros if I enjoyed the stay or not.

This place has trendy rooms that are quiet and have great modern bathrooms, and the food at the Michelin-starred restaurant is delicious!

Very beautifully maintained grounds & buildings located at a very picturesque French countryside. The area is stunning, located below the Bellcastle and next to a winding creek. Many places to hike and enjoy the views. Dinner was exceptional with many choices including fresh vegetables from the garden. Very accommodating service staff to help us understand the menu items and wine choices. Nice place to relax & enjoy life.

The hotel is situated perfectly to explore the Dordogne area and being next to a river evokes the perfect atmosphere. The hotel building, although being up to date with its facilities provides the feeling of history and belonging to the area. We went in off season and the price was very reasonable, although be aware of extra taxes and a possible expensive breakfast. The food was memorable for all the right reasons but you pay for the expertise. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

The most inconvenient thing was that the kitchen is closed on Monday. Although the hotel recommended another restaurant which was excellent. The only other thing was that the river could be a concern from a safety aspect with young children.

Great food, especially the desserts. The set menu was excellent value for money. The breakfast had plenty of delicious options.

The cheapest room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom decor was a bit dated.

The units are modern, beautifully designed with excellent modern bathrooms, terrace, as for instance. A michelin-starred restaurant has EXCEPTIONAL meals.

Airy and nicely decorated room with a breathtaking view to the castle from the window. Superb start of the day with milk and jam. Location just next door to nearby Souillac for ample choices...

Enjoyed the superior queen room with terrace, and the modern bathrooms were excellent! 😄

It was the surronding country side and places of interest to visit. Then come back to relax by the pool.
